Fucking B*coughWcough*ankers.

So, I went out today and made an appointment at Lloyd’s TSB about them trying to fine my money. This is unfair, firstly because £15 a day is a ridiculous amount to charge someone for doing something they didn’t know you would do and secondly, because £15 a day does not mean ‘working days’ but includes weekends too, when you can’t put money into your account.

Apparently if you take money out on your card it has to come out of your account, whether it’s there or not. This makes sense, it really does, because that’s exactly what happened before I had my student card and tried to spend money I didn’t have. Oh right, no, no that didn’t happen before… Before the bank just denied the transaction. HOW STRANGE, THEY SEEM TO BE HYPOCRITES, OUT FOR THE MONEY.

So, evidently I was mistaken. Hopefully, they’ll understand that no matter how stupid a mistake it was it’s still immoral to charge  someone who was overdrawn because they don’t have any money even more money to make them even more overdrawn.

They’ll probably charge me for taking the money out from that, too.
